Dumbest freaking thing at the stadium after the President's Race.
Seriously? How?
Don't take offense dude. That's just my personal take on it. I'm just not into all the side bullcrap that people seem to enjoy at games. I'm into the actual game itself and none of that other crap holds even the slightest allure for me. It reminds me of the stupid crap they do at Fenway Park and that they tried to incorporate here with Sweet Caroline.
The Aha Sing a Long is great - totally organicLove it - and it was particularly awesome in the playoffs
I think fans having traditions and all is cool..
+1
For those who don't want to click the link, it is the crowd singing Take On Me during game 5.And I like it infinitely more than the President's race because the crowd- the Nats fans- started doing this on their own eather than having the organization force it upon them à la President's Race. Same thing with everyone doing the Shark. And an active crowd pumps up the players so I am interested in how a crowd reacts and act during a game. Some people may not give a crap but the crowd is important.

Maybe singing more songs may have given Storen more balls to challenge hitters when all was on the line.
The fact that they're happily singing "I'll be gone in a day or two" seems to have escaped them all.
I know the wound is still fresh... but I did get a chuckle out of this response to the video.

I'm just really mad again. How did we blow that game? Ughhh, but yeah. This is probably my favorite thing about Morse and now that too is probably gone. Tell me I'm not the only one.
If that becomes a "tradition" here.
