This is what I hate about the National League. We should be excited that Flores got a 2-out double, but the pitcher is coming out so we all know the double is meaningless.

Except it gets us through the pitcher this inning, something the Yanks couldn't do, so we're a spot ahead in the lineup after 2.

Nice double by Flores but he's stranded as Gio strikes out.

Sounds like someone wants to defect to the O's. ;)

Gio has been down 2-0 to almost everybody.   He can't win like that.

just like that double by Jeter. Can't keep falling behind them, their good hitters will tee of on the fastball if they know it's coming.

Every Yankees fan I know bought tickets months ago for this game.  Still, I bet it's no more than 15-20%

Walking Tex who struggles vs LHP to face a red hot ARod. Not smart

FP is on coke. Walking Tex to face ARod is not smart. And walking ARod to face Swisher is even dumber.

And there you go. You don't walk batters and expect to do well. Pitch to .213 vs LH Texeira

Yeah, this hasn't been Gio's finest start by far.

FP is off his meds tonight. Gio has no command of anything, he will be lucky to make it through 5.
