It should be in the mid 90s in ATL by first pitch.

I guess it rarely gets above the mid 70s in San Diego.  Well, at least he's thin...he'll manage.

Stras prefers the temp to be above 78 and below 82, otherwise it throws him off.

When did Strasburg inhabit Maya's sensibilities about temperature?

I feel like an idiot. For some reason, I thought Atlanta had a dome team. I don't know why.

Weather Channel has 92 at first pitch, 88 at 19.00...also keep an eye on Beryl, currently a subtropical storm (winds topping off at 50 per right now) which could make things interesting tomorrow.

You're thinking of the Falcons (Georgia Dome).

MLB has only one hard (i.e. non-retractable) dome team left (Tampa Bay).

Arizona and Houston might as well be hard domes since they hardly ever seem to open them.

Xavier Nady is the flashing red signal telling everyone that Rizzo failed at the objective of putting together a complete roster.

The number of left handed bats on the roster makes the Nady signing even worse because, on games like this, he's the only available right handed bat who can play right field.

Any team with Jayson Werth on it is a dome team.

I understand Minor's a leftie, but still would prefer to see Ankiel in there over Nady.

Minor's been beat up so far, so hopefully we don't do our thang where we make opposing pitchers look like Randy Johnson.
