This is the worst part about being the road team.

Bernadina has been useless for a while now.

I'll be sure to make note of it in the streak/slump thread ;)

No matter how many times Clippard pulls that move, it never gets old.

My netbook ran out of batteries but I came back to say that this game could go on for days . . .

I think you can add Nieves to the slumping list.

I'd have put in AlGo right here with Nyjer following him. We're not about to score if Guzman gets on base and I'd rather save him until we have men on.

I haven't bothered thus far because of his backup status and the fact that this is pretty much who he is

But yeah I'll give him a plug next go-round.  I'm trying to stick to doing one summary per homestand or roadtrip.

I have a theory that Nyjer has never gotten a hit after faking a bunt on the first pitch.

Swing the bat chief, you're not a power hitter.

I guess his whole career is a slump then.

Yeah, I don't think I recall a time where he actually attempted a bunt and didn't pull off a successful bunt, and then managed to get a hit later in the at bat.

I'm getting tired of this dumbass.

That switch almost killed us on the Guz near drop.

I think it's a bit overdramatic to call that a near-drop.
