Game 5 would be at 8:30PM, though I hope that we don't have to play that game! Both Game 4 and 5 will be on TBS.

More reasonable than 1PM, still wish it was later. Man would I love to go, but it'll take a lot of schedule shuffling and I don't even have a ticket.

Nice, I'll be able to catch most of it at home on TV (vs being at work).

16.07 first pitch - not my favourite since it sprawls over dinner hour - still better than the match going late-night (and since I normally get off work at 15.15 no need to take leave).

One note: Game 4 would shift to 5:07 p.m. if Tigers-A's series doesn't reach a fifth game (Det currently leads 2-0).

Not having to play game 5 can also mean the Nats got bounced in 4 so I'm all for having a game 5.

I'll reserve judgement until after game 3. :)

This wouldn't be so terrible for me but they still shafted us.

How firm is the 8:30 PM start for Game 5?

The only other match scheduled for that day is Yankees-Orioles Game 5, so there could possibly be a movement if the Yankees close out the AngelO's tomorrow and Thursday (but probably not since in that case we'd have the day generally, and prime time in particular, to ourselves).

Unless MLB decides to freak the Nats I would say that time slot is pretty set in stone.

It's never out of the question

But a nice time for couch watching, but that will be be a late ride home for attendees. I need sleep.

Feels like Golilocks- "this game time is too early", "this time is too late". Too bad the MLB can't serve us the perfect time.

:nono:  You're not old enough to need sleep.

Depending on the outcome of that game, the time it ends and the amount of alcohol I've consumed, I'll be staying at a hotel that night somewhere near the airport.

That's their main primetime slot (8:30 east coast, 5:30 west coast), so I'd say it won't change.
