Werth sucks tonight

SF i know you hate players over what 26 yeasrs old?  but there is nobody in our organization that could replace Werth.

he's really not as bad as you make him out to be, it's incredible.

Desmond is amazing on the basepaths. He is a major leaguer, just not sure if he is an everyday major leaguer.

You obviously never saw a Roscoe Tanner serve or a Bob Lanier hard foul on a player driving up the middle.     ;)
Not against a 18 year old!

oh whaddaya know another desmond stolen base.

he needs to get on base more because he would have a glut of SBs.  18 is awesome, but he could have more.

He has superstar flashes, I swear. If only he had any confidence at the plate.

True, but they also brought up Messi and Ronaldo at that age, if not earlier.
They brought Freddy Adu up too young and ultimately it damaged his career.

Werth sucks every night.

Every time he swings, it looks like he is about to fall down.

Yeah man, freak the critics. I don't care if Harper is the most hated man in MLB as long as he is whipping ass in a Nats' uniform :whip:

What would you say if a Phillies player did that after he hit a home run off the Nats?

2nd half of last year when he was in the two spot in his first full major league season, i thought he was pretty good.

he's been in the organization for a while and most of his numbers have been consistent (lots of k's, lots of errors, stolen bases, a few extra base hits here and there, has ability to get on hot streaks), but people forget he was picked out of high school as a raw kid with projected said tools.  we see flashes of the potential, but we also see the holes in his game.

We tend to forget that guys like Stammen, Lannan, Balester, Desmond, Espinosa etc... were brought up into the Bigs probably a bit too early in their careers. However, we might have struggled with them the last few years but they are about to pay huge dividends for the Nats. Case in point... Lannan of the past... loses this game...the current Lannan goes 7 innings and the Nats win. Lets wait and see.

We seem to face Lincecum in series against the Giants.  It's a good thing we usually do well against him.

Speaking for myself, I wouldn't like it at all.
So what?
That's not the point.
They're not out there to be liked by other teams' fans.

The point is the Phillies are in first place and we're in last place.

End of story.

he's overrated,  they should have tried to get Marquis.
