I mean it was something that happened while he was rounding the bases.  The pitcher did/said something as he was rounding the bases that's not on camera.

And the pose after the swing?

Can't defend that.

18 year old... crushing one... thinking he should be in the majors already

He should.

Eighteen-year-olds play 'major league' tennis.   Eighteen-year-olds  (well, now 19-year-olds)  play in the NBA.    Sixteen-year-olds win gold medals in the Olympics.

Bryce is better than anyone else we have.   That's just the way it is.   The only reason why he is not playing in the bigs is because of $$$$$$$$$.

We need more of that cocky, confident attitude around here. As long as you can back it up, all the more power to you.

No one seemed to be bothered by Ramos cadillacing around the bases. I know it was a different situation, but it was still as much dickish as what Bryce did tonight.

Blowing a kiss does not equal confidence. It's not an isolated incident either, he's acted like a tool a couple of times in the past. I want him to do well and I will root for him, but a tool is a tool, a Nat or not.

So Chase Utley is OK in your book?

I disagree. There's something different entirely about directly facing and taunting a person than an indirect, implied taunt

Strongly disagree. DBacks were hitting us, Montero taunted, crowd was rowdy, big game, etc. Bryce is just dominating single A.. no place for that.

I don't really care that much, it's just tacky.

thats also why its always important to have the pudge and alex cora types on the ballclub. the first time he screws up at the big league level a smart veteran will sit him down and tell him how its done. Nobody is bigger than the team and nobody is bigger than the game.

In Europe that is the norm.  There isn't a single player in La Liga who wasn't a de facto pro by 14.

No, it is irrelevant. Even if the pitcher freaked his sister, do you think Zim blows a kiss? No, he might glare a little, but nothing that showy.

If the pitcher freaked his sister shouldn't she be the one doing any type of blowing?

So now you are hating on Harper because he is confident and acts like a boss?

thats also why its always important to have the pudge and alex cora types on the ballclub. the first time he screws up at the big league level a smart veteran will sit him down and tell him how its done. Nobody is bigger than the team and nobody is bigger than the game.
What? Harper is the crap, nobody is going to tell him anything. He makes his own rules. :whip:
