Just play it out straight and he would have self destructed. Instead, we gave him easy outs. So the pressure never built on him.

so true...The guy never felt threatened and was allowed to get comfortable on the mound. Shoulda been lighting him up all night.

You don't extend yourself to beat bad pitchers. Bad pitchers are bad pitchers for a reason.
