Lineup looks like they're trying to win one.

No Desmond, no Pudge, but at least we'll stop hearing Kennedy say "I've only played once with Dunn and Zimmerman."

Would it be evil of me to wish a little bit that Stras is awesome and Livo has one of his 2 out of 5 blow ups, just to get some of the younger guys like Martin and Stammen more seriously looked at for the bottom of the rotation?

The MASN schedule shows Maryland basketball classics and MLB TV has the Yankees game, anyone know if this game will be aired anywhere other than MLB.COM audio?

I was hoping ESPNEWS would show at least his pitches. I guess that isn't going to happen

I subscribed to MLB.TV for the sole reason of watching spring training games to find out that this one is not being shown.  WTF???

You can listen to Cardinals radio.  :?

Granted better than nothing.

Prefer to see Strasburg pitch, not listen to him pitch.  This is a huge let down on MASN's part.  Who would rather watch 1980 Louisville @ Maryland?

Was hoping MASN would make up for missing Friday's telecast. I guess MASN 2 isn't ready to go yet

First inning:
2 quick groundouts by Schumaker and Lopez...bloop single by Craig...passed ball...walk to Rasmus...swinging K by Freese

Fastest pitch was 97 mph...Freese struckout on an 80 mph slider
24 pitches thrown with 13 going from strikes

I don't really care if it is the radio or t.v. after so many years of losing. I always close my eyes when the other teams batters swing.

Well, he got through two innings!

And holy cow, Adam Dunn stole a base!

He gave up a hit, struck out a guy on a curveball and then got a ground out double play.

3 innings for Stras.

Two hits, 2 k's, 6 ground outs and one pop out to Dunn.

Strasburg goes 3 without giving up a run. He's got a killer slider that I would call knee buckling. We are going to witness something truly incredible when he gets called up.

Nats are on the board after gonzalez got on base followed by a Kennedy triple and then a Zimm single.

2-0 Nats.

So Strasburg looks legit. I'm looking forward to see what he can do through more innings. Right now everyone is only seeing him once per game. Their book on him is based college film and what they hear from other hitters, I suppose.

He certainly looks as good as advertised.

Does anyone have his pitch count and ball/strike break down?

49 pitches.

7-11 first pitch strikes.

I think 29-20 strikes/balls.

I'm thinking that was the game in Cole Field House in which Darrell Griffith scored a bazillion points (48?) jacking them up from all over the court.  Unbelievable performance.

Livo-esque relief. 2-2. 2 hits, 2 walks - but he eats innings.
