blake's triple - this is what happens when you have people (dukes) playing out of position. instead of Maxwell playing center and Dukes playing right. also, Manny Acta and his coaching staff have no clue how to prepare a team to play baseball.
So then you move Dunn to 1st and put NJ where?

 Well atleast its over early!

I guess pumping up JZ was what we needed to get through the first month, now what?

We wait until Strasburg gets drafted and then we start pumping him up.

I don't know how you can really believe that this team would magically play better with another man at the helm. This team sucks plain and simple. I guess Torre or LaRussa would have this same team in 1st place.  :?
that's not the freaking point. Why keep Acta here? What are the benefits to that?

Sure it might not make a difference but this front office has to step up and make a statement that losing like this is unacceptable.

Acta and St. Claire are ruining this team.

Beimel
Dukes is every bit as bad a center fielder as Milledge.

Beimel to center; Dukes to the bullpen. See if that works.

i remember when Manny was announced as mgr, in his press conference he talked about fundamentals. but this team is so fundamentally inept. its not just the players. there is no reason why a rf is playing cf on a permanent basis. we have Justin Maxwell, he is a cf. play him!! Dukes should be playing in right and Dunn in left. Let Willingham and Kearns rot on the bench.

we'll roll over for garbage ass Randy Wolf now that we are in an early hole. I've seen this game hundreds of times.

JZ just went over to get a smoke from Olsen. That always calms me down after getting bombed in the first inning.

Tell that to St. Claire, Dibble (RE: throwing breaking balls).

Randy St. Claire is so inept it's ridiculous. He doesn't know how to scout the other teams' hitters.

but this team seems to run on a funny basis: if we trade for someone or give him an 8mm/yr contract, we have to play them even tho there are better players in the org. i dont know why.

No way, Dibble is pitching coach, Ray Knight is our manager.

dunn in right and nickj at first. but the defense only cost us the 6th run. the other five were 3 singles and a walk and a grand salami

There's definately no shortage of friends in the dugout for Zimm2. Most every pitcher that we have has been bombed at least once this year.
