ugh.. nice and easy 11 pitch inning for Durbin.  I sure hope we don't go 0-6 on this homestand, that would be a killer.

Depending on how Watson performs with this opportunity, Logan's days could be numbered.

That "vanilla latte" comment from Bowden, considering the circumstances, was incredibly tasteless.

nice easy inning for Jason.  As easy as he made that look, he made it look equally as difficult in the first.

Nook ain't got nothin to worry about. From what i've heard, Watson is still the same slap hitter he was his first stints.

Can anybody confirmed that?

Young is 1/1 career against Durbin with a HR.

I disagree. The passing of Robert Fick's mother was mentioned and his comment had nothing to do with it. He had moved on to direct the conversation towards Watson. The lady passed away. What is he supposed to do wear sackcloth and ashes for the interview to display his condolences?

Yes, he still hits singles (88% of his hits were singles) but his avg. is .330 so far in AAA this season.

What he could have done was just said Watson was coming up and not included any kind of flippant comment.  "A cup of coffee", even, would have been inappropriate.

If his swing has not changed then I don't expect him to be any different this time around.

If a fan caught that bat, would he ahve been able to keep it. That would've been tight.

Another "transgression" from last night when Guzman tried to advance on the identical play that Kearns just did.

Maybe we should email Bob and Don and ask them to tell Bowden to redo the interview to recant the comment with a lit candle in hand.

It depends on the player. They usually get to either keep it or if it's the player's favorite bat they get another one of his bats in its place.

Baybe his knowledge of the stirke zone has really improved and he's learned what to swing at and what not to swing at. I'm curiosu to see him at the plate. Not expecting much, but curios.
