losing nyjer KILLED our offense. amazing. he is the key to our offensive production.

Agreed. We're dead in the water without him.

come on. this is a normal day in 2008 for us. look at the lineup. today SCREAMS 2008 nationals.
but this is happening now after happening just last year and every year before.

42 games under .500!

getting swept by the lowly Padres fielding a team of bums.

Every loss for the rest of the season will be a new low for this franchise.

If they aren't careful it might scream "2010" also.

Thats what worries me.

This offseason should tell us a lot about the Riz.

You should turn your computer off and go cry about it.

I don't think Rizzo knows how to start building this franchise.  This team is in worse shape than an expansion franchise would be.

Actually he did.  Correja swung at ball 3 so he should have walked.

He is doing a lot more there than he is doing being in Riggleman's doghouse.

Why doesn't SF bash one of his boys (Nieves) for sucking. It's always Willingham, Dunn, and Bard but he never mentions the offensive ineptitude of his boyfriend behind the plate.

he's a back-up catcher and serves that purpose. i haven't watched any of the game today. what has he done that is so terribly wrong?

he's not the one walking batters and serving up meat balls.

Is it a coincidence that the pitchers suck with Nieves behind the plate and suck less with Bard? How come you always notice the bad gamecalling of Bard without mentioning the fact that the pitchers suck a lot with Nieves.

the pitchers suck the same with both catchers.

you are saying that Lannan wouldn't have walked 4 batters and given up 5 runs if Bard was behind the plate?

You are trying to paint Bard as a good defensive catcher and throughout his career that has been far from the case.

Let's face it. I won't be sad if both are off the team next year.
