Morgan should be released that was freaking innexcusable, immature behavior.

Morgan is one dumb mother freaker. If he had turned inside he would have picked up the first down. And then takes a brainless penalty. Put the team out of FG range.

Why they opted for a 62 yard FG instead of going for it on 4th and 16 I don't understand

Josh Morgan, go kill yourself. Also, Cortland Finnegan is a freakwad.

Andre Johnson hopes the Rams face the Texans this year.

Cut Morgan, re-sign Cooley. Paul isn't ready to be a tight end. Banks needs more time at receiver if he's ever going to figure out what he's doing. Cooley is great a blocking and would provide a nice safety valve for RG3.

Let's see,  defense is God awful,  line can't pass protect,  and Morgan then Shanny both made stupid decisions to end the game

Cooley is out of football?  The end came quickly for him.

He caught a pass on third down... instead of going for the easy first, he tried to run out of bounds.

Got in a scuffle with Finnegan... and threw the ball at him for a 15 yard penalty. Took Skins out of FG range.

Idiotic move on two fronts. He at least should get benched, look what happened to Steven Jackson... Officiating was horrible both ways. They need to get the deal done and get rid of the frauds.

Carriker and Orakpo getting hurt was a big blow, but not making adjustments to stop Amendola is unforgivable.

I still can't comprehend why he opted to go for that long ass FG. Cundiff's career long was 56. Why after an 8 year career would Shanahan think he could make a kick 6 yards longer than that? Makes zero sense.

4th and 16, let's see what RG3 can do. There was nothing to lose

Billy Cundiff's longest pre-game make was from 55 yards and he hit that with 3 yds to spare. Missed GW attempt was from 62. #Redskins

Makes even less sense. Major freak-up by Shanahan

On September 13, Josh Morgan gave an interview to the Washington Post. The subject of the interview? Finnegan.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/football-insider/wp/2012/09/13/rams-defensive-player-to-watch-cb-cortland-finnegan/

Quote
“He’s the ultimate competitor, a great competitor,” Redskins wide receiver Josh Morgan said. “He’s one of those guys that plays—you know how they say play to the whistle? He’s one of those guys that plays until you walk back to the huddle…He’s just got a little extracurricular with him, you know.”
How you stop him: The key, according to Morgan, is to play your own game and not allow Finnegan to get to you.
“He pretty much tries everybody at least once or twice a game to see how you respond back to him, see how you react to him,” Morgan said. “And then he just can go out and be the football player that he is. A lot of people respect the football player. I definitely respect the football player he is. Some of the extra stuff, he can cut out.”

Retaliating, Morgan said, could result in a costly penalty.

“You don’t want to be the second guy because the second guy is going to get caught,” Morgan said. “He’s going to come at you and he’s going to be the first, second and third guy. You’ve got to remind yourself not to be that fourth and fifth guy, and throw your hands up and walk back to the huddle.”

I still can't comprehend going for the field goal there. Sure, if there's two seconds left on the clock it might make sense, but there was a full minute left to score!

Wonder if Jarvis Jenkins is going to see time at Carriker's end spot? Rob Jackson at OLB... I dunno. When it rains, it pours. Griffin still impresses me though. He's played much better than I expected especially when you consider he comes from a spread offense. That said, they've tailored a lot of the scheme around his strengths and for the Shanny's, that's a novel approach.

I'm guessing that after Rob Jackson shows that he's not that great, Chris Wilcox and Lorenzo Alexander will get some PT. Maybe put Zo in the middle and move Riley to the outside

Him not being on any other roster speaks volumes, which is what I was asking about.

Im not sure if he really wants to play anymore. Especially with going through a divorce. Combine that with Shanahan giving him ZERO playing time in the preseason.

I still think Cooley would be a productive second tight end if he wanted to be. I'm just not sure he knows what he wants.
