I would call it dumb (though it DID seem to wake Span up) but not relevant to the humble discussion.

That's my point. At that time, Wall was viewed as c_cky and arrogant by some. Same way Bryce is viewed by some now. You said you liked Wall for those reasons, and I'm showing you that he had to take time to mature and develop, just like Bryce has to. Why is that not possible?
