Just noticed we didn't have this thread going yet. Will be there tomorrow night - looking forward to seeing Scherzer hopefully get a :w: this time.

Ultimately striving to attend all day matches (so far so good - have made it to the first and third Mets matches and the pre-season match; also planning, weather permitting, to be at the Saturday and Sunday fixtures of the current Phillies series). If my doctor will get me off at least some of the dizzy/drowsy meds I'll be adding some of the prime-time matches as well.

Got a bug up my ass and decided we'd to drive up for the Cardinals game tomorrow.  Anyone know who will be carrying the Capitals game on radio?

Aren't they on a Richmond FM station? For the first 30 minutes of the drive at least.

Will be more like the last 30 minutes...figure the Nat's game tomorrow should end about the time the Caps start.  We have XM/Sirius, so it may likely be on there as well...

Met a guy at COSTCO in Henrico (Broad ST) yesterday while we waited on tires.    He had a Cardinals' hat on and we chatted baseball.    He said he was coming up for the game today.    That wasn't you, was it?     :)

Hardly...but you were about 2 miles from my house...

More tires?  You're getting as bad as me.  They named the waiting room at Firestone after me...

Tires this time were for the boy.   He provides the cash, we provide the membership.   He doesn't go there enough to get his own.   Plus, it gave mom and me a chance to grab a bite to eat and BS with him.

Going Saturday.  Kind of interesting.....MLB at bat has Strasburg going Friday at Miami INSTEAD of Zimmerman.....and then has TBD on Saturday....

I just had to replace tires with a 50,000 warrantee and my odometer was 50,121.  The store said my tires at category V were made for going up to 141 mph, so they hugged the road well.  They suggested tires in category T that would last 90,000 miles and are made for going up to 115 mph.  I very rarely drive above 70
