13-8 since ASB.  15-8 overall and 40-35 since May 11.  Not too shabby for this motley crew.

Not bad at all...

Very cool. Makes the despondency of early May seem like a distant memory.

And now we get to see BSPN say "and the defending champion Cards lose a game to the lowly Nationals."

They can say all they want to, it won't change what's happening on the field.

I just checked the numbers, the Nats are 41-34 (.547 win percentage) since May 11th, which is even sweeter

It's remarkable what they've done since the terrible start  - with a patchworlk triple AAA rotation - great pithing (AGAIN) by our guys and clutch hits ... they're playing great baseball - very nicely done!

It makes you wonder how they might have done, had the Nats had a bonafide center fielder and a power bat in the middle of the batting order, not to mention, healthy starters for the entire season

It's also interesting to check out the makeup of the team during those first 40 days in contrast to the makeup of the team since. For example, Hill, Bergmann, Patterson and Williams went on the DL and have pretty much remained there. Guzman went on the DL also. Plus that was right around the time that Chief went and returned from the bereavement list.
