Cintron DFA'd, Dukes DL'd (I think), Maxwell recalled, Bergmann also recalled.
Wait, really?!  Thank GOD something is changing if so.  Also bring up Clippard!

Yes really. I guess they decided to add one more arm to the bullcrappen. Let's see what Bergmann can do.

Post game Manny presser:
Dukes placed on DL.  Maxwell and Harris to split CF.
CINTRON DESIGNATED FOR ASSIGNMENT.  Going with 8 relief pitchers, adding Bergmann.
"You don't want to go into a battle of bullpens, the way we are."

The more we lose, the longer and more open Acta is in these press conferences.  He MUST get St. Claire removed, to salvage his own job.

Great... so 8 pitchers in the bullpen.  More crappy pitchers.

And now we'll have pitchers hitting more because we won't have any pinch-hitters.  (not that we did with Cintron at the plate, but...)

At 11-27, with a winning rate of .290, the Nationals are on a pace to
Win 47 and Lose 115 in 2009, Phil Wood
(Time to face reality, Phil.  Have a brew.)

Acta DID say that "Cintron was hitting the ball hard, but we needed another arm in the bullpen."  He's demonstrating that he STILL has no grasp on reality, and continues to apologize for his Failing Favorites.

Words can't express how much that crap pisses me off.

I understand not publicly humiliating a guy, but why does this milquetoast dipcrap refuse to admit when a player just isn't up to snuff?

ESPN's Baseball Tonight reports that the ONLY team in the HISTORY of baseball that scored an average of 5 runs per game, but STILL had a LOSING record, was the 1962 New York Mets (the Clown Team with Marv Thornberry, managed by Casey Stengel).

do you not realize that Dunn SUCKS in the clutch?

the Nats could be celebrating a win if Kearns or Dunn had an ounce of clutch in their body, but they both blow.

Do you realize your ignorance is astounding?

The best part was when he called for Belliard to PH after he already did and failed miserably.

Who would you guys take in a cage match, eagleskins and Dunn vs the freaking awesome guy and Dukes?

AZ and Dukes.  EaglEZkins would take one look at Dukes and cry.  Dunn looks huge but he comes across as a big teddy bear.

What's more, some beers show the hops content rating.  I believe Sierra Nevada does that, with some brands having a VERY high hops content, compared to others.
