I wish they would grant us the same entertainment courtesy considering the nuthouse that is going on down on the field.

Some of them are playing their asses off.  How depressing it must be to go out game after game, play well and have the bullpen give it away.

Zimmerman, Dunn, Guzman are all on track for having career years.  Flores is blossoming, Hernandez is looking like a major leaguer, Martis has been a pleasant surprise.   Unfortunately, our vulnerability is fatal.

Pirates announcers: "Screech trying to let one out."

Screech dancing in the background.

Let's take the lead this inning. I'm tired of my teams losing to Pissburgh teams this year.

Villone is an O.G.  He looks like a keeper.

Trust me spider....you're not alone in missing Dukes.

I don't miss him in the same way the freaking awesome guy misses him though.

Solid if unspectacular.  That practically makes him the ace of our pen.

  Good one tomterp.

Dropping the Z at the end of his name has done wonders for him.

Johnson to Zimm:

"hey man don't worry about grounding into a DP, i'll clear the bases for you"

"thanks dude!"

It wasn't Johnson's fault. He had a slow SS on base.  :?

Then maybe they should start getting on their comrades rather than tip-toeing around the problem and blaming the offense for "not scoring more runs" when that isn't the problem. 11-26. They don't need a spokesperson, Tom. They need a kick in the ass.

Where is sportsfan tonight anyway?  I just noticed there's a conspicuous lack of trash and garbage in this thread.

Somebody needs to get Dibble a link to our thread memorializing his Dibbleisms.

True enough, but you could probably use an enema.  Lighten up a bit man, it'll numb the suffering.

That reminds me of spider doing his impression of sportsfan on a date.

And how do we know that?

I think most of the anglo players read the forums, along with the broadcasting teams.

... I've heard from another source that most of the 2008 pitching staff were reading the forum and were familiar with individual posters, having favorites and ones they didn't like.

I think what Zim-with-1-N and others may do is read the Gameday Thread while the REPLAY of the game airs late on MASN (midnight last year, maybe 11:30 pm this year; varies).  Mr. Carpenter knows that the movement to retain him began here (Erica's Nats, his former next-door neighbor.)

I try not to be too nasty, and just started suggesting puttting Cabrera in the bullpen.

Dunn's MOM was here, so naturally he HOMERED.
Kasten, we gotta get a player parent to EVERY game!!!!!!!!!
Walks in front of Mom.
