i didnt like the suicide squeeze call but it worked out because ankiel made a great play. if that thing backfires like it usually does with us, we're all pissed off. given ankiel's swings today i would've prefered to let him swing away, but the call worked so it was fine.

It's kind of like the guard who chucks  a 35 footer with a few seconds left when his team is down one point.  Horrible play if he misses, great play if it works.

It was really fun to see the suicide squeeze develop, and actually work for a change.

i like FP.

i just find it funny how crazy bob is going over the defense because he's seen how bad it's been the last few years.  FP keeps saying well i wasn't here so i don't know how bad you were haha.

Let's tweak that a bit.  It's more like a guard taking a contested 3 with about 15 left on the shot clock with abou 6 minutes left in the game with his team up 2...except in this case, the coach called the play.

i do like FP though, smart guy, good delivery. just a nats PR guy though. which is fine.
did you hear the conversation about the new sunglasses vs. the flip down ones?  Bob threw him for a loop when he contradicted FP's claim that the flip-downs were better in bright sun.

Bob also called him out on the Uggla HR ball.

Seriously though, FP lost me when he said he'd prefer the sac fly approach to a 3 run HR.

We get it, you're paid to talk up a team that isn't going to play for the long ball... you don't have to insult our intelligence at the same time.

Werth was screaming from the steps of the dugout as soon as the ball went off of Ankiel's bat on the homer.
