should be bases loaded and no outs.. Langerhans is now hitting .060

That might extend the game and the HP ump might have a tee time.

On the other hand...I guess the entire Nats 2007 campaign has been a huge example of futility.   :-[

Thats a hell of a handle that boy has there.  "Rocky Cherry."  I don't know if thats a pictures name or if I should go to my freezer and check my ice cream selection.

This guy dethroned Coco Crisp as the best baseball name in the big leagues.  They talked on XM radio about how his Dad "Jane Cherry" decided that because he was picked on as a kid for having a girlie name...that his son wouldn't suffer through the same thing he did...so he thought up the most masculine name he could think of, thus: Rocky Cherry.

Belliard swings at ball 4.. Him and Dmitri sure have cooled off considerably since their decent starts to the season.  Can't wait for Guzman and NJ.

unfortunately, mediocrity is contagious in a clubhouse.

Somebody told Langerhans (the other, other other Ryan) that he has to hit rock bottom before he can rise.  Somebody tell him that he needs 2,949 more at-bats to lower his BA to .001.

I really can't even begin to get a handle as to why we traded for this guy.  "Better defense in the outfield" is a crock.

Could someone explain why we're so error prone? It defies reason!

Zimmerman with his 3rd hit of the day.  He's now hitting .250 on the season.

Kearns has been driving the ball deep but also elevating the ball.

We need a jack badly.

How many pitchers do the Cubs have on their staff cuz Pinella seems to have used about twenty of them in this series!
