Absolutely.  Although Boone is valuable, and was a good pickup, he's not an everyday player.

I'd say he's an every-4th-day player, at best. I do like having the guy on our team, though.

He got out of the kitchen temporarily.

Now he's back, starting next game we can play Casto in LF and Boone at 3B to avoid the Langerhans/Pena situation. Also, to answer your questions he had the flu or something.

By saying this, I meant that it was too hot for him to play. It could have been taken many ways, though. I suck at the joke telling. :?

Wonder how Clip will do tonight. He's been pitching a lot better in Columbus lately. Last year with the Yanks he started out with a nice start but after that he pretty much got hammered in every start.

Clippard is going to walk some batters. That is his weak spot.

He's releasing the ball WAY too early. They might be right that it's the landing spot.

I hate when MASN shows that behind the plate view during a pitch.

It's pretty sweet when the batter actually hits the ball. But that rarely happens when they choose to show that angle.

At least he's keeping the ball down for the most part, which is good.
