That's game. Redding is crap. I don't get why he's still in the rotation. Pointless.

We should've traded Redding when we had the chance.

Yep, this team holds on to tradeable pieces way too long. It always ends up costing them.

Redding is not part of the future or even 2009. I'd trade him for whatever we can get after this game. If no one wants him then release him.

How many pitches has Redding thrown without getting an out? Jesus freaking Christ.

Agreed with everything you said.

This game is already unwatchable.  20 minutes in, the Nats haven't even recorded an out.

Predictable. I knew this was going to happen before the game even started. Hell, anyone with half a brain could have seen this coming. Redding is horse crap.

We should've traded *insert player* when we had the chance.

that's the story of the Nationals since 2006.

Soriano, Belliard, Dmitri, Redding, etc.

the problem is that our folks vastly overrate our players and ask for the Moon for them, and the other team's GMs laugh in our face.

these players that we have and refuse to trade (except Soriano) are not worth "TOP" prospects and everyone knows it, so I don't see why we continually ask for them.

The worst part is that this is against the Rockies, the one team that wanted Redding's sorry ass. >:(

I don't think he wants to be traded. You could say the same thing for Perez. They were both pathetically awful right around the trade deadline. Sickening, we should release both if we can't deal their worthless asses.

You just can't give up a bunch of runs if you expect to beat Cook. Our offense will probably be too distraught to muster anything the rest of the night now. Cook might go 9.
