Desmond is decent but he is not even close to being the star that people seem to want to label him as.
I am not convinced he is automatically "ss of the future" over Espinosa.

Well, compared to who he replaced, he is the star we all want him to be.
I don't think anyone here is claiming he's the next Hanley Ramirez but he's certainly on track to be better than the next Cristian Guzman.
