I like consistency, but not redundancy, and don't we already know that one of the two teams is going to be the Nationals?  My own preference would be a simple:

or if it were a home game:

The ST format that most people used might work:

4/8 vs Phillies, Game 3

4/9 @ Mets, Game 1

I'm not really a huge fan of having the date in the title when you can get it from the timestamps in the posts, but admittedly that requires going into the thread.  Then again, I never remember games by their dates, I remember the series and roughly what time of year it was, so I don't personally see the benefit of showing the date anyway.
