What a treat that was. Why did we get to hear that one? We never hear the National Anthem.

Because of the tragic earthquake, duh.

zimmerman is definitely a #1 starter

+1

It's a pleasure to have a guy like Zmnn, finally...after...wow, the list of horrible starters...where is Matt Chico? Whatever happened to Garret Mock?

Right. My bad. I'm not great at being a victim.

No one yelled "Mah hair" a la O Brother Where Are Thou? so I think he's fine.

Clint survives Blowoff every weekend, the earthquake is no match for him.

Did you hear FP diss Bob on that "running count?" Now Bob knows what Riggs felt like. Lame Duck.

Slowes on the earthquake: when he felt the first tremor he wondered 'hey what's that guy doing upstairs' - exactly my first thought at the time (I work on the fourth floor of an eight-storey office block).

Lerner already has his lawyers drawing up the paperwork for the insurance claim for lost revenue based on the late opening.

Ya know something ... this Lerner/cheap stuff is getting as tiring as SB37 "fire Rizzo."

Let's all give it a rest.

took me over an hour to get home -

My drive home was fine ... at 6pm.

Though the toll road was very backed up approaching the toll plaza (I think some lanes were closed) so I veered off and took some back roads.

What I find funny is that Montero is supposed to be some awesome offensive catcher but Ramos has comparable numbers.

Nix seems to hobble back to the dugout. Let him sit and rest the achilles.
