Josh Hamilton looked terrible.  It shouldn't, but his performance in that one game may have cost him a few million.

Isn't this a conflict of interest? How can Ripken call the O's game?

Nothing to worry about...it was CARL Ripken in the booth, not Cal.  I don't think Carl ever played for the O's :lmao:

Ripken: If you don't score any runs it's hard to win.

Not a fan of being happy about an opponent missing time due to injury. Would rather beat their best on the field.

He didn't say he was happy about it, he said it was good for us, which it is.

Point is, this is not something I'm happy to see, and I wish him a full recovery.

The same reason they signed a bunch of guys last year and then traded half their team at the all star break - to make a quick buck.

please please please let that happen, A-Rod would make Miami even more dysfunctional then it is already.  Maybe they can sign Manny too?

It will be will be fun to see if he brings back naked flips. Flips is another term hitters use for soft toss. Someone tosses baseballs toward a batter, who swats them into the netting or toward the opposite end of the batting cage. In 2003, Redmond put a distinctive spin on the drill. Hoping to get the Marlins out of a losing streak, he headed into the cage wearing nothing but socks and spikes and batting gloves, and proceeded to take what became known as “naked flips.”
