The Nats were lucky to win the first two. The offense is the pits.

They could easily have been 0-3 to start. The bats are doa. To be fair, I had no idea that samardijza had that kind of stuff. But even with last years morse, this offense is going to be barely passable. Werth is a gaping hole.  Zimmerman seems to have left his Ab's in fla. I mean seriously, we're all here hoping that a guy who played in Japan last year is going to be the hero.

That said, c'mon, you bums, get a run!

Why the freak is Mattheus pitching again? Davey's first dumb decision of the year. Gorzelanny nor Burnett have pitched at all.

Why can we never score more then 2 runs on days that Zimmermann starts? Our offense always goes MIA when he is on the mound it seems

You wanted a lefty specialist or a left long man to face Starlin Castro, a right handed batter, in the eighth inning?

Burnett was the right call or Lidge.

Care to elaborate? Burnett is a left handed specialist who is not good against right-handed batters.

You're completely right.

In other news, MLB has decided to shorten the season by 98 percent from 162 games to just three games.
