Olsen was awful. 2 out runs are daggers

Funny, you never have anything to say about him when he pitches great.

Olsen wasn't his usual self, it hurt us yes, but I'm willing to give him some slack seeing how he's been pretty awesome all year.  It hurt that our offense couldn't get anything going against a solid Saunders.

Oh well let's go get 'em tonight.

"I had two outs and back-to-back lefties coming up, so I got to be able to make pitches," Olsen said. "I got to do better than that. It was awful."

At least he owns up to it. That was pretty damn awful. Two outs, no one on base, and two lefties coming up, and he botches it and blows the game.

I just have a problem with the pitch selection to Reynolds.  He made some decent pitches to LaRoche, but LaRoche made good contact.

To Reynolds, he should've stuck with the breaking/offspeed stuff ... he fed him a fastball and Reynolds feasted on it.

If Lannan does that you find an excuse for him (like blame the catcher for bad pitch selection or say the Nats are cursed or the other team is lucky).

Only one run against the worst pitching staff in baseball?  Glad I sat this one out :?

I stand corrected - only one run against a guy who by his pitching logs appears to be the Arizona version of Livo/2010.

Be nice. Joe Saunders is a local kid (West Springfield High School, I think he beat up NOTLD) and Virginia Tech.

I like Livo.  It was a compliment.

Do I recognize Nat of the Living Dead and Mr Thomas Terp in that photograph??
(I don't recognize anyone else.. y'all should do a Houston road trip :( )
Yep, and they're both white guys.........that was a shocker for me....since I posted to turtle for 3 years thinking he was a "brother" on the other Nats Message Board.....obviously not what I expected. Oh well, life is full of little surprises...you just never know who you are interacting with on a message board.....

Chief pissed him off one night.
Only one night..........oops, did I say that out-loud...... :mg:        :stir:

Gee, all I had to say to Dave, on the other message board, was:  "that he acted like he had baseball books coming out of his rear end.........whoops, there it is".....and he stomped off and hasn't posted to me (on the other message board) for about two years..........of course I was just being sarcastic.....but, who knew, he was a sensitive bloke.......  Live and learn brother, live and learn.........

So was SF so that makes it perfect!  :lamo:

I remember that exchange. It seems as if that happened earlier this season but according to the date stamps it happened over a year ago.
