Stop being dense.  SF kept proclaiming how "criminal" it was that we were keeping Clippard at AAA, and now that he's up, he's nagging about him left and right.

If you don't see the absurdity in that, there's no hope for you.

It's like a little child whining about never getting the Christmas present he wants, and then complaining about how much it sucks when he finally gets it.

:worship:  I remember that. Of course we know about his post integrity so he may have gone back to delete those posts by now.  :?

*a buncha stuff*

yeah. you are dense. completely missed the point of what I'm saying.

lemme try to say it slower for you.

SF spent about 2.5 months crying, complaining, nagging, and moaning about why Tyler Clippard wasn't called up, every time a relief pitcher came into the game.

Clippard finally gets called up.

SF rejoices, as everyone did.

Clippard doesn't pitch as well as he did in the Minors. He's inconsistent. some days he pitches well, some days he doesn't.

SF says "haha tomterp, you got pwned, Clippard sucks."

my point was never that Clippard is good, or that he shouldn't be replaced. only that it is hilarious how quick SF has turned on Clippard after spending SOOOOO much time and energy nagging for him to be called up.

with that said, I'm done with the conversation.

be careful what you wish for.

I would take a "selfish" hit here from Dunn.

Hardly a sound when it's one of his anointed though.

you don't even know what happened so I don't know how you can comment on that.

I simply said that Clippard needs to be more consistent and throw strikes:

Quote
He needs to be more consistent.

You can finally see why Rizzo held him down in AAA so long.

Too many walks, long counts, and falling behind batters. He must be more aggressive throwing strikes.

And everyone took that as me saying Clippard is freaking terrible and a joke of pitcher and will never be good. :? :bang:

And the game is still in doubt, especially if Villone comes in.
