Why ?

He is a National. Why should I dislike him?

His issues are going beyond simply not producing. There are severe mental and confidence issues going on right now.

Fasten your seatbelts folks.  Now it gets interesting.
Nah, Drew's got the good stuff going tonight and the bottom of a weak order.  Lee is irrelevant.  Drew's got this.

What the hell was that??

Werth falls down and gets himself caught in a rundown off THIRD base.
Werth is a partial werewolf.  He is CURSED!

Ankiel needs to wave him off.
No, he needs to be screaming "I got it"  Can't be bending down to catch a liner and waving.  He'll fall right over.

If he were a werewolf, he would be beasting like Morse.  More like a pink fairy armadillo.

I'm with ya, generally.  I understand he's trying and I don't get on him much and, though I don't post here all that consistently, when I have I've been defending.

But that was really f'in stupid, and CAN'T happen if you're making league min or $20 mil.

Dead on. It looked like neither player said a thing. Bernie doesn't have time to look to see if Ankiel is in position to catch it, Ankiel should have been screaming.

From what I could tell, neither may have thought they weren't sure about catching it, so why call someone off ?
