He beat the throw to the bag and didn't slide because he thought Zimmerman was going to 1st.

Be nice Lint.

He beat the throw.

Really? I'd have to see it again. Looked like he stepped on the bag after Espinosa caught it.

Is knocking the ball out of the defenders hands against the rules?

Anyone that thinks that play was dirty needs to either re-watch the play or check yourself.

Heyward is jogging to second.

Clearly, most 3B go to first on that play... but Zimm surprises him and throws to 2nd. By that point, Heyward was too close to slide. HE BEATS the ball to the bag, so he's safe. He runs into Espinosa because Zimm made a crazy decision.

There wasn't a dirty thing about that play.

Heyward headbutts Espinosa in the legs to intentionally knock the ball out of his glove. Reminiscent of A-Rod from a few years ago knocking the ball out of the first base-man's glove.

You are so out of your mind it isn't even funny.

Oh look at that, the Nationals still have crap for pitching.  Guess this franchise honestly believes they are good with one possible decent pitcher in the lineup.

Different angle, I changed my mind a bit. He pushed him out of the way. From the other side it looked like he led with his helmet.
yes with the other angle you can see him stumble into him

Nice pr work rizzo...broderick, coffee were awful and the defense was pathetic today...yet some will still blame kasten/bowden.

Pathetic.  How is balester not on this team?

Totally.

It's funny, the only thing that has been consistently decent in all 3 games is the starting pitching which everyone thought would be the worst. :lmao:
