Jackson's ERA is up nearly a half a point today alone.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Bauer do well tonight. Only guy who has faced him before is Andrelton Simmons, the current Braves SS who has been phenomenal lately.
I like Bauer but this is a bad spot for him. Atlanta has crushed Arizona in every game in this series and they feature a lineup full of Major League quality hitters. Bauer will struggle I'm afraid. Maybe Arizona will do something vs Jurrjens, we'll see. I hate having to rely on other teams to lose. Sucks. :losertalk:

Tells you how good Edwin has been this year.

Gives up 7 runs in two innings and he still has an ERA of 3.52.

WOW. His ERA has ballooned today! But yeah a 3.52 ERA is still very good. I probably wouldn't send him out there for another inning.

As soon as the Nats break up the no-hitter I'm turning this crap off and going to take a nap.

Merry Tyler Moore, batting 7th, breaks up the perfect game with a walk in the 3rd inning... his first at bat this game. Great lineup, Davey!

Why is Edwin hitting? Must be waving the white flag.

Why is Edwin hitting? Must be waving the white flag.

Because you have to manage the bullpen/rotation for a season. Not just one game.

If Edwin comes out here, you'll have a worn out bullpen for Atlanta.

So sportsfan882 can take a nap.  Gets a single, breaks up the no hitter.

As soon as the Nats break up the no-hitter I'm turning this poop off and going to take a nap.

Now eliminate the shutout, please.

Don't like Edwin's outlook for today. He relies on his slider a lot and I don't know how effective it will be at this park. I think we'll need to slug our way to double digit runs to win this one.

This would be a good time for Bryce to break out of the little slump he's had lately.
