I hope they give Werth a nice reception, he comes off like a really nice guy.

You're absolutely right :lmao:  They showed some people standing for Werth, but it sounded pretty pathetic.

Twitter people said it was a big ovation when he came up and the crowed "erupted again" when he got the base hit.

Yeah, I have no excuse for not being there.

Nats Park is no fun, lately.

I mean it really does suck. I'd almost rather play away so we can have a little bit of life in the games. Pence got an insane reaction last night in SF, makes me so jealous.

Looks like nothing but Phillies fans

Hard to tell.  Same main color ... red.

I see a lot of Nats shirts though.

It's not even the attendance numbers (though they should be better), it's that the people there seem bored and uninterested. Clueless.

Attendance last night was pathetic. Don't know what's causing this, besides no history.

They're making history, though..

There's these things called "jobs" People in this area have them and would like to keep them. So that usually means working later.

there is the one run we'll get off Hamels tonight.  Doesn't give Detwiler much wiggle-room.

Freaking change-up.

Hamels is at his best against the Nats.

From Zuckerman:

T o make room on the active roster for Werth, the Nationals placed reliever Henry Rodriguez on the 15-day DL with a back injury. Manager Davey Johnson said he was ready to option Tyler Moore to Class AAA Syracuse so the first baseman/outfielder could get regular playing time again, but Rodriguez had been getting treatment on his back for a while and was deemed injured enough to place on the DL.
