where'd that gun come from on Felipe? That was a sweet throw on a crazy fast runner.

Felipe has a great arm.

<<<<<<<<<<< Picks up phone, calls Manny, says, thanks for having such confidence in your starter... Hangs up as loudly as I can... breaks finger
No, no no... Chico had labored all night and his pitch count was close to 100.  This game was setup perfect for Rivera-Rauch-Chief in the 7-9 innings.  Rivera just blew it.

I REALLLLLLLLLY HATE Manny's system with starting pitchers...

Hey Ken are you saying you would've let Chico come back out?

He was at 94 and in the 6th showed signs of settling into a groove...

Yes, I would have at least given him the chance to start the inning

Yeah I don't get that. I guess Nook stays in the game in center.

I would've taken him out because he seemed to labor all night. Having said that, I don't like Manny's philosophy of taking pitchers out so they can leave on positive notes. I think they should allow pitchers to stretch themselves out to set up for longer outings.

If Manny did that with someone like Livan, Livan would be all over Manny like bears to honey
