I'd take Milledge over Church. He's just better.

Church's numbers are better.  Not to mention Church is 10 times the outfielder Milledge is.

Wow.. What was Mills thinking going to 3rd there?  I knew he was safe but that would have been horrible if he got out.

His numbers are a little better temporarily. You must not have watched Church play over the last few years. Give it some time.

I understand that.  But this blind Milledge love doesn't make much sense.  I hope he does well, but I think Church will have a career year.

We need to trade Pena to an AL team.  Get whatever you can for him, because he is garbage.

He'll fizzle out by mid-June or so. Or get hurt. Church isn't a bad player by any means, but Milledge has the potential to be better than Church.

This is almost the EXACT same start as last year for Church. He was hitting .341 w/ 3 HR for us on April 16 last season.

Agreed.  I can't believe someone's lamenting that trade based on one half of a month, especially considering that Milledge is the younger one with higher upside.

Church has plenty of time to come back to earth.  Remember the name "Chris Shelton"?  There's someone in the "where are they now?" file.

He's probably playing AAA ball somewhere.
