Our three best offensive players all play offensive positions allowing us to stick with better defenders at the defensive positions. the facts of baseball haven't changed, "Power at the corners, defense up the middle." If we could just find an offensive right fielder and a catcher under 100 then we would be good for awhile. Any offensive out of SS, 2nd, C, and CF should be looked at as a bonus. Teams that try and lean on those positions for most of their offensive output seem to not do too well (see Orioles, Baltimore and Pirates, Pittsburgh)
