With the way Halladay is pitching I don't know that we can be giving away outs on the basepaths.

Yet another reason why baseball should ALWAYS be played outside!!

Hi all...doesn't look like I've missed anything except the crap with the home plate ump. They carry pitch counters, so how did that happen? Idiot.

I'm extremely pleased with Bergmann's outing, pleasantly surprised by O'Connor's work, not too shocked by JP's line and still laughing at kimnat's post  ;)

Thank you!  Maybe I should try out for an umpire position!  I know how to read a scoreboard!  :icon_mrgreen:

Yeah to Bergie!  He's got to be on the way back to us soon!  Any idea how many pitches he threw?  I'm worried about JP.  He may not come back if this keeps up!

"Zimmerman plays it beautifully, and throws it down the line" What an amazing call.

Considering this game is on UPN 20 I was wondering of saltydad's whereabouts.

Bacsik just sucks.. How do you give up a HR to the #8 hitter?  Bergmann can't come back soon enough

True but it's imperative he doesn't come back too soon.

Don't these guys have to take a test or something to get the ump job?

I've noticed the Mighty Mike Bacsik tracker vanished a couple starts ago. We can't keep giving them extra outs.

How long will they keep him w/ Columbus do you think?

That's where Fick is a benefit at first base ... should have been an error on Young, but it's a hit ...

They have to work themselves through the minors just like the players.

Come on ... I love Dmitri on the plate - but he's just brutal in the field ...
