Gates open at 2 but I'm not allowed to go to my seat until 3?  Great job Nats.  I pay this much for President's Club seats I should be able to sit there as soon as the park opens.

They know you bought them at a discount.  Stan is a very wily adversary.

I think it is only the Centerfield gate the opens early. I know when I was in Cleveland we got to the game early and they had one gate open and the concourses closed until an hour before the game. Also Kings Dominion opens their gates at 9:00 but doesn't start rides until 10:00. Nissan Pavilion has also done stuff like this. So really it is nothing special to the Nationals or even baseball. It is just a thing places that entertain large groups of people do.

Right.  Seating areas open up 90 minutes before the game, period.  That's the MLB standard.  Somehow they are also allowed to open up the outfield plaza area an extra hour earlier.

Kennedy & AlGo taking BP = meh.  Morse hit a few balls like they insulted his manhood and he really holds a grudge.

I hope they're wearing white uniforms today. Too hot for the Red or Blue ones.

I'm gonna end up a bright red today, but my seat is phenomenal.  12 rows off the field, one section to the right of home plate.  Watching WC matches in the restaurant right now.

Gametime temperature at your seat - 112F.

I went outside to let the dog pee and ran right back in. Yikes.

Too late, Potomac Cannons, but you'd figure they'd have a special hoity toity entrance for the Lexus High Rollers Club (Did the Nexus Club in that neighborhood have a special entrance?)

All the food, including the restaurant, is complementary (sans alchohol).  Just had a phenomenal pork chop, and the fresh blueberries/raspberries are amazing as well.

Shade should be over my seat by the 2nd/3rd inning.  Let's keep the streak of the Nats winning when I pay for a seat alive.

I think it's great how accessible people are finding the forum from their mobile devices.  These "live on the scene" updates are good fun.

Wearing white (for only like the third time all year), which is a very very good move.  I felt like John Isner (currently in the 10th hour of his tennis match) walking across the street today....

Kasten/Lerner want people to spend money for that extra hour. If you went to your seats that early you would start taking advantage of the "complimentary" food you paid for with the overpriced ticket.

Also Kings Dominion opens their gates at 9:00 but doesn't start rides until 10:00.

Same reason, you get to go in and spend money in their shops for an hour before getting on any rides.

WAP2 works perfectly on the kindle, FYI. This is a more recent development. The deal with facebook seems to have come with a much improved browser with better photo handling, so maybe the full version will start working
