I love the kid. But I kinda get the feeling we think a bit higher of him than he is. Don't get me wrong, he's great, an all-star. But I get a vibe that people think hes a once a decade player or something.
lol.. amazing defense, 25+ homers and 100+ RBIs and runs scored
That's overrated? I want some more overrated guys.

I'd much rather have David Wright with his 6 homers and 48 RBIs

Looks like they're planning on sending Bergmann back out for another inning

Josh Bard didn't start either yet I didn't feel any angst about that.

Not relevant to anything.  Just thought I'd share.  :icon_mrgreen:

Yes indeed, a solid outing by Jason. And worth mentioning that Bally's effort was REALLY what we needed.  Of the three new guys, I came into tonight thinking that JD's going to be solid a la Stammen, I wasn't too sure about Balester, and I'm concerned about Mock. But Collin dished up just what the doctor ordered.

I don't like it. we've seen it before. he is great in the 1st inning but usually gives it up if he goes 2.

Mock = eh - I like Stammen and Balester, with the jury out on Martin.

Even Belliard hits for Riggleman

I'd rather have Morgan bunting than Guzman swinging with the bases loaded.

You know as soon as they showed Morgan's line with a 3-0 count, I knew he was jinxed :?
