This is how bad it has gotten for me: I am actually watching an Oriole game...  :'(

I picked up the Twinz pitcher Slowey off waivers today.
I'm facing the 800-pound gorilla of the WNFF Fantasy league,
the Loxoscelidaes.

Pitch fastee, Slowey!

So is this game cancelled?
No. Knowing our luck they'll resume it with the score 4-0 in about an hour.

It will never get that bad for me.

I think I'll watch "Ocean's Twelve" on USA. There are certainly worse ways to spend an evening than looking at George Clooney and Brad Pitt. Watching a Nats game is one of them. :|

How can we win when we have Chodes like King on the opening day roster?

this is turning into a season to forget. it's especially sad because i had high hopes for the team in the new stadium and everything. the team is in disarray, we might just end up approaching the mutts infamous '62 record. the prolonged losing streaks are gonna start stacking up without zimmerman.

i guess you could say this is the mid-season crisis, but we've still got 100+ games left!

depressing.

Still raining but not too much longer it appears unfortunately. What a joke of a game. We still have 6 more innings of ABs but it's irrelevant because we can't score. If only Perez and Colome were released after this loss it would be a little easier to take. That won't happen though. This organization is obsessed with over-the-hill retreads like Mack, Perez, and Colome.

What happened to Perez that he got canned after three innings?

He's lucky he made it that far. That bum should have never started the game to begin with and everyone knows.... except Jim Bowden and Manny Acta.

so...I have a bad day at work.

then I get caught in the rain.

then I get home, soaking wet from the rain.

then I look at the score and we are losing 4-0 in the 4th, and we are on rain delay.

just. effin. fantastic.

I'd guess they'll play unfortunately. It's stopped raining in D.C.  Hopefully MASN will have an update at 10:00.

He hit a deep fly ball that was caught on the track, he doubled a guy at first.

He's looked fine in the field and even threw a runner out at first for a DP. In his first and only AB he drilled a ball opposite field to the warning track but it was caught for an out.

Ugh, they got to re-draw the foul lines. They'll probably restart around 10 or so. What a waste of time. I'd just assume we forfeit the rest of the game to spare us any more misery.

The Cards have a man on 2nd and no outs thanks to Colome.

That's just as good! Nice! That's a lot quicker and more efficient way of walking a batter.
