Young jogs to first on a hard hit ground ball.

So that's what it's like to have a LF who can get to foul balls

This hurts. I keep watching this series shaking my head, especially since the Nats beat the Giants 5 of 6 games this regular season and were ever so close to playing the Giants in the NLCS,
I found myself rooting for the Tigers, but it seemed that layoff affected them and the Giants got hot at the right time.
It's kind of hard to take - sort of like the Redskins beating the Giants twice last season in the year NY won the Super Bowl. Except the Nats were closer to making the WS than the Redskins were to the SB, of course.

Affeld sitting 92-93 with a nasty slider.  I'd love to have him in our pen next year.

Is that crowd really that empty? Or am I getting a bad view?

Edit: nevermind they were hiding in ski masks and hats. Hard to see.

Three wild pitches by Coke? HAH! That's nothing! We've got the master of wild pitches.

What a way for the Giants to pull this out. 2-0 in the NLDS. 3-1 in the NLCS. The team that swept the Yankees, down 3-0 in the WS. Lincecum has been awful, becomes godlike in relief.

Fourth game, tied 3 all. 10th inning. Man, when the Giants win tonight, they've got to have had one of the most amazing postseasons in a century of WS. When they win tonight in extras on the road, those guys have to be some of the most excited, jubilant, energetic celebratory experiences ever, in all of sports.

The fact they sodomized the Cardinals doesn't factor in anymore for me, this team deserves it and has earned it like no other. Other than the Nats, I can't imagine my enjoying a team's WS title more than for the 2012 Giants.

I'm surprised that catchers don't get hit by bats more often.

Marco Scutaro is the best trade acquisition of the season.

Up to Cabrera to keep the Tigers alive. This is the way it should be.
