so they won't air Jimenez vs. Livo; idiots.

...because that Atilano-Hammel matchup is one to mark down on your calendar!

I don't understand.  If I really want to watch the Nats, I'm highly unlike to watch some stupid random bumblefreak game on FOX involving a totally overexposed team when you take away that option.

I'm amazed that you guys in the local Nats market get blacked out of the game too  :?

I think the new rules this year say that if a FOX game is scheduled for 4:10pm (like tomorrow's), any game starting at or before 1:10pm can air without blackout restrictions. But they still black out all games from then until 7pm. A little better than last year, when all Extra Innings games before 7pm were blacked out. But still sucks in a case like this.

At least we can watch Phillies-Brewers on FOX instead

I'll listen on the radio, but this sucks and points out the inadequacy of the radio coverage rather strongly.

TIME OUT. The game is blacked out locally?! You have to be kidding me.

I don't understand.  If I really want to watch the Nats, I'm highly unlike to watch some stupid random bumblefreak game on FOX involving a totally overexposed team when you take away that option.

Exactly, I'm not watching the freaking Phillies, and I'm inclined to not watch any of Fox's Saturday games if their black out rules get in the way of watching the HOME TEAM.

In a rare upset, a blog commentor on the one of the lower rated local sports networks upended the blackout policy and the game will air.

I'm way to tired for multiple levels of sarcasm. I vote to post and speak only literally for the rest of the day.

I can't get 1500 AM inside my house. I guess I'll either have to sit in the car or just follow on masnsports.com
