He was lousy early last year too, but gradually ramped up his game, and by the time he was pressed into service at first, was hitting really well.

His power outage isn't surprising?

Apparently this game will rollover onto MASNHD as soon as the O's are done.

Currently in a rain delay, bottom of the 4th.

I should cheer for a west coast team. The hours of the games suit me. 9-midnight? Yeah baby yeah!

So who else is staying up for at least part of the game?

I'll be up until 2 at the latest or until Cabrera puts me to sleep.

I don't know what engineering tricks are involved with switching games between the HD and SD channels and whether notifications to all the various cable and satellite providers have to be made at the time of switch but why can't MASN show the Nats on the HD channel while the O's are in rain delay and if and when they resume, they switch them back?  That seems reasonable to me.

If I remember correctly, Clayton Kershaw is the youngest starting pitcher in the majors. The second-youngest is Shairon Martis.

I thought Porcello was the youngest.

Yep, he is younger by about 9 months.  Kershaw is the youngest in the NL.

It's produced in HD and downgraded to SD - wouldn't be hard - would require someone to care.

Why would MLB Gameday assume I would want the LA feed?
