So who had him whacked?
It was kinda like "Murder on the Orient Express," we all did.

Julian Tavarez did it to take over his spot here and join you in posting bliss.

yikes ... three defining moments in this one - 1) dukes pop out with two on, 1 out ... 2) zimmerman ground out to 2B last inning ... 3) burnett giving up solo blast on a pitch called by Nieves.

So who had him whacked off?

Of course if this question is asked about Dukes we all know the answer would be AZ.

What are the chances that Strasburg will be in attendance at the picnic at the park on Saturday?

I'm imagine he's got press conference Friday afternoon, throwing first pitch later that night (if that's the case I'm sure the Nats will announce it ASAP) and then attending the picnic at the park the next day.  The Nats know how to do these things right, generally.

I don't view this game as winnable anymore.

This inning showed unequivocally the difference between a good team and a bad team.  >:(

Huston Street next inning will be tough. I'm happy we are playing competitively. They have a really good team.

Is it possible to drink so much rum that you're still feeling the hangover effects some 72 hours later?    :spaz:

It goes back to his college days, but basically he's a royal, pompus, :donkey:.  Heck of a good pitcher, but he's completely full of himself.  I had a few run ins with him while he was at the college world series, it may have just been a Texas thing, but I found no traces of anything resembling a decent guy.  But guys like Ryan Garko were great to interact with.
