This seems to be a mistake we keep making. Someone starts to look a little off kilter and we burn another pitcher. It seems to be making the choice between possibly losing one game, and likely losing two. We need to let the pitchers rest up.

It was the right move to take Saul out, but there should be another pitcher in there right now. I wouldn't usually say that, but Ayala has clearly looked worse than usual recently. I'd have to assume that it's because of fatigue.

Good out. But he didn't have the control he wanted on the first pitch.

It's crazy how much AZ actually hates Wright (who is a great player) yet worships the likes of Belliard, Logan and Colome (total bums) and Dukes who is clearly unproven.

That was a weird move taking him out, but the right one. Sutton just explained it.

Over-managing the pen or a "brilliant idea" as Sutton called it?

If Manny wanted to boost Ayala's confidence he would have not let him pitch a second inning yesterday after pitching a scoreless inning.

freakin Rauch.  He's so psychologically weak.  If you ask him to go two innings, he chokes.

Sutton is full of it.

He is, but if what he said was true, the move made sense. If Ayala wasn't a vet, I would've thought it was a crazy thing to do.

Why is it that Ayala pitches every night?

Manny is trying to get the Mets managing job, after they fire Willie Randolph.

There's a website for Bootlegger malt liquor, which takes forever to load, as it plays Prohibition era music.  The parent company is in Expos country, Quebec Canada, but the brew is made in Henrietta, New York.

Wouldn't be a Nationals game if we didn't cough up half of the lead, at least.
