Scouts were right about his changeup though, it is not a good pitch.
He throws it about 11-13 MPH slower than his fastball but it just floats to the plate on a tee for the hitter. To get to the top level, he'll have to improve it.
There's no depth to it, but it can be improved and I think his progress in other areas bodes well for chances of improving his changeup.
I seem to remember Strasburg's changeup being his weakest pitch - a couple people drilled it out of the park because it was basically a 92 mph fastball with minimal movement.
