Zim had more homers today than Infante has all season :D

I'm officially off of Zim's case :D

Yeah, it would have been better if he skipped the trainers and jumped around like a fool instead

trust me, That was not an issue to me.  I'm sure the other night he was getting his arm wrapped by the trainers.

Huh?  Desmond threw the ball away, not Guzman...
Desmond's throw at the plate was a great make up play for his error. He went from rookie to Veteran on that one. Good for him.
  Great for Zim!!! Allstar!

That's the third walk-off win in the last 5 games. 2 of those ended on a Zimmerman at bat.

A fan just fell out of the stands at Texas. Good 30 foot drop.

I know the woman who started it all in Texas.  Very first home opener in the new park.  She told me she'd given up stadium diving, I hope that's true.    :?

He was conscious???

Apparently might make it too. Fell onto fans, who cushioned the fall greatly.

My friend Hollye fell 35' onto empty seats after the game.  Many broken bones, including shoulder and ribs.  He's a short article discussing that fall.  I'm pretty sure in her case there were other factors involved.    :glug:

I sat once in sits right next to the railing with one of our own posters, Obed Mash. I couldn't help but wonder how no one has never fallen down on those small railings. Hopefully I didn't jinx it.

Did she win?

Seems like the cops and ushers told her to get off the railing.

Seems like the cops and ushers told her to get off the railing.

Within a day or two they had welded an additional 6" of height to all the upper deck railings, which were clearly too low.  She won a settlement, but hardly enough to live off of.  She was forbidden from divulging and didn't, but I would guess low six figures (say, $150,000).  She's a hardcore fan and wanted lifetime season tickets but they wouldn't go for that.

The story I heard, is that she was leaning on the rail for a picture, a guard or usher approached yelling at her to move off the rail, she got indignant and leaned a little further out, and "whoops".  She was a party girl, no question.

Zimmerman is on MLB Network.

Campaigning for the Nats bringing back Dunn. "Hope the big man in the middle will be locked up for a few years real soon."

Zimm is on MLB Tonight now
He's making no bones about it that he wants them to sign Dunn to an extension. He's calling this season his best so far.

That was an AWESOME game to go to. I had a lot of fun. My record is now 2-3 (thanks Sunday  ).

It was really awesome how mixed it was at the park. At some points it was really loud. Then in the 8th it was DEAD silent it felt like. My seats were up in the third deck behind home plate, really great view. Seeing that shot straight away to center from behind was so awesome.

Pet Peeve Revisited: Clint is a douche. He came up to our section to get people to cheer for the "Get Loud" part going into the bottom of the ninth. During the top, he rounded up people and had them sit in a section. He seemed to ignore the fact that Capps was currently pitching. He then started to start a chant to get some kids parents to join them saying "Come here red hat". During this chant, Capps was aiming to get a second out. It was obnoxious. It really "grinded my gears". I understand its his job but make it act like you're supporting the team.

OK, seriously Nats, just sign Dunn during the break. Keep him happy, keep the team together, keep Zimmerman  happy, keep the fans happy.

look at what he's done with protection in the line-up the last two years, he knows how valuable Dunn is to his career.

I just sent in like 50 votes for Zimmerman.
