I'm sure I've repeated this story and my old man may have stolen the line but ... there was a time in the 80's that the line was, "real men don't eat quiche". My dad always replied, "Real men don't know what quiche is." He was a 40 year man in the steelmill and a WWII vet. I never questioned it.
