The Marlins did not offer arbitration to Type B free agents Kiko Calero and Nick Johnson, nor did they offer to Brendan Donnelly or Ross Gload
The deadline passed this afternoon, didn't it?

why? Braves needed a closer. Wagner wants to win and with that rotation they have a good chance to do so.
The Braves somehow get older. That team is ancient. They have a ton of money bottle up in Lowe, Kawasaki, and Wagner.
This has me more than a little baffled - Braves sign Billy Wagner
They offered arbitration to both of their current closers.
He already admitted he was. He knows he's on a short leash.
I don't think you can sign a player and then trade them. I think you have to wait at least till July or so.
That candle crap is a gay slur as far as I can tell.
It's actually from a Geico commercial.
Looks like Figgins to the Mariners. Tough loss for the Angels.http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/10474818/Source:-M%27s,-Figgins-on-verge-of-$36M-contract
