That wasn't even close to going out perfect example of a Bob Crapenter call

So Martin did what the team needed him to. 5th starter material.
If the Nats hold on for this win he will be 5-4 with a 4.21 ERA.

we will be 8-4 as a team in his 12 starts

If Dukes hits it, it's probably a pop up.

This team is 100% "pressing need".  :'(
No it's not.  Focus on fixing the pitching.  If Holliday is still there when you've addressed that, then go for it.  I don't want Holliday at the expense of a pitcher or two that we need much more than outfield help.

How much do you think it would cost per year to land Holliday?

Well, 98% pressing need and that's as low as I'll go!  You do realize we're headed for our second consecutive 100 loss season?  That, alone, would indicate that "pressing needs" abound.

No idea.  More than Dunn.

...that's actually the biggest problem we face.  This team has so many talent holes to fill.

Yes, I realize that, I know we've got our issues, but the places where the Titanic is taking on water is not offensively or in the outfield.  I'm not saying I don't want him, I'm saying there are bigger issues that should be dealt with first.

:bang:

not one of our relievers can be trusted to throw strikes. Clippard and MacDougal are two of the biggest culprits.

How many more huge losses can this team choke away?

This feels like the choke job against Philly where we led 8-2 and gave up 5 runs in the 9th.
